Your Bridal skincare journey starts here.
BRIDAL
WEDDING PREP
Having your skin looking as luminous, clear and healthy as it possibly can is a must for many leading up to the big day! Ensuring we achieve this takes time, careful planning and effort from both our trusted team and bride and grooms to be. Don’t forget, we also treat the neck, chest and decolletage so that you can be in best form on your wedding day.
The first step to achieving your bridal skincare goals begins with booking an advanced skin analysis, so we can dive deep into your skin history and diagnose any underlying concerns and create a bespoke plan to get you the best skin ever. For greater results, we recommend to start at least 6 months before your wedding, or for those who require a more corrective route, we may need up to 12 months to see results.
We are with you at every step of the way from the beginning right up until a few days before the wedding. We like to check in on our clients during the weeks that we don’t see you to ensure your skin is going okay, and we are always reachable whenever you may need us.
Don’t forget, grooms are just as important and should have their skin prepped for the day! To be photo ready, we guide our grooms with appropriate home care to get on top of skin concerns. For those who are happy with their skin and don’t have many skin concerns, or don't particularly want to start a regime or have 6 months worth of facials, we recommend having at least 2-3 treatments before the wedding to hydrate and plump the skin for a clear and glowing complexion.
WHAT CAN i expect?
You will receive an in depth skin analysis and consultation, where we ask many questions about your skin and health history, and use our Observ device to view below the skin where the naked eye cannot see. This assists us in determining and curating a specific treatment plan for your needs, timeline and budget, and includes a morning and a night time skin care routine that will amplify and maintain your clinical results.
What are some good pre-wedding treatments?
A combination of treatments spaced at 2-4 weeks apart can improve a multitude of skin concerns. A corrective treatment routine can consist of skin needling sessions to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and acne scarring, as well as custom blended peels such as our azyme, mandelic or PHA peels to resurface and plump the skin. Other treatments including DMK enzyme therapy and oxygen infusions can help improve the skin’s barrier function and hydration levels, leaving the skin in its best state possible.
When should i start treatments?
If you are someone who does not have many particular skin concerns, 6 months before the wedding is a good place to start with treatments every 2-4 weeks. If we are looking at a more corrective route, 6-12 months may be a good place to start. If pigmentation, acne and ageing is a concern, we require adequate time to heal and regulate the skin. This will be discussed in your consultation and treatment plan.
what skincare should i use?
A cosmeceutical skincare routine prescribed by your skin therapist will enhance results of your professional treatments, and allow us to continue progressing and building up the intensity of your treatments. This can include a full routine from a cleanser, morning corrective serum, moisturizer, SPF, a night corrective serum and moisturizer, and hydrating serum to name a few. Whatever the products we recommend, they may possibly be interchangeable depending on your skin at the time and how it progresses.
