Skin treatments
IPL & Laser
Light-based treatments for redness, capillaries, pigmentation and spider veins.
What is IPL?
Targeted light for clearer-looking skin
IPL (intense pulsed light) delivers pulses of light that are absorbed by pigment or by the blood in small vessels. The light turns to gentle heat, targeting the problem area while leaving the surrounding skin untouched.
Treated pigment darkens and flakes away over the following two weeks, and targeted vessels are gradually absorbed by the body.

Your questions, answered
Your skin may feel like it's had a mild sunburn, and the area may look red for several hours. If you're treating pigmentation, it will darken first, then gradually flake away over about 2 weeks.
Improvements can be seen with each treatment, and we recommend a course of 3 to 6 treatments, 2 to 6 weeks apart.
It's designed for spider veins with minimal recovery time. It isn't suitable for varicose veins or during pregnancy.
You may notice some swelling and bruising on the treated area. Avoid intense exercise and anything that increases blood flow to the area for 48 hours.
We generally advise a series of three sessions per area, 6 to 12 weeks apart. Your therapist will tailor a plan to you.
